Glide Reflection

A glide reflection is defined about a mirror line axis parallel to the translation vector. In glide reflection all the points that form a particular image are reflected about a mirror line and translated as indicated by the translation vector.

To create the glide translation of the triangle (2,1),(3,4),(4,1)

To illustrate this definition the mirror line will be defined as the x-axis and the translation vector as (0,2)
